Lyle Williams, LMFT - Supervisor Candidate
Telehealth for couples, families, and individuals across North Carolina

I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and U.S. military veteran, certified in Gestalt Psychotherapy and trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.). In plain language: I help individuals, couples, and families heal emotional wounds and steady their relationships. With individuals, I focus on present-moment awareness and attachment needs so communication becomes clearer and choices calmer. With couples and families, I use EFT to reduce negative cycles and rebuild trust. When trauma symptoms feel “stuck,” I offer A.R.T., a structured, image-based protocol that can reduce distress quickly.
As a marriage and family therapist, I do not prescribe medication. Some clients benefit from medical support for severe symptoms; when that’s the case, I coordinate care and provide referrals to psychiatric services. |

On a personal note, I’m a husband, father, and a believer in God (YHWH), Jesus (Yeshua), and the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). I became a therapist because I’ve seen the difference it makes to have someone steady and skilled to talk to when it matters; and the harm that follows when good care isn’t available. My purpose is to help people live happier, healthier, and more productive lives. I have been humbled and blessed to do this work, and I hope our paths may cross if you are looking for support.
